Medication Technician

Job Description:

  • Reports to the supervisor

  • Take resident information and verify need for requested medication
  • Scrutinize prescription(s) to ensure authenticity of information
  • Follow medication administering instructions provided by the physician in an accurate manner
  • Observe residents’ response to existing and new treatment plans and make decisions to perform intervention actions where required
  • Maintain accounting of all medications – especially controlled substances
  • Create, maintain and update patient records and medication information on a regular basis
  • Write  accurate  and timely reports regarding resident’s responses to administered medication
  • Maintain awareness of medication interactions and side effects
  • Document reasons when a prescribed drug is not administered
  • Confere with residents’ physicians if in doubt about administering a particular medicine to a certain resident
  • Interview residents to determine their medical history and any drug allergies that they may have
  • Order medicines and supplies such as syringes, saline water, swabs, etc.
  • Maintain and restock medication inventories and waste any expired medication or supplies on an immediate basis
  • Assist nurses and other personnel as needed
  • ALWAYS follow up with the pharmacy when ordering medication

We seek the following principal qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current UpToDate MedTech Certificate
  • Three years of previous MedTech experience
  • Management skills
  • Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff, parameds, hospitals, and pharmacies
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with a flexible schedule and availability to work weekends
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB and pass background checks

Job Description:

  • Implementing and coordinating the delivery of care in collaboration with physician and resource health care personnel
  • Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in applying nursing knowledge
  • Documenting all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans, observation of the residents overall condition and behavior, Medicare charting, admission, discharge, and patient teaching
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of facility infection control procedures
  • Providing functional direction and assistance to LPN’s and CNA’s and completing new staff orientation as assigned
  • Directing resident care to include making rounds on a timely basis to ensure continuity of care

We seek the following principal qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school and current Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • 2 years of nursing experience; Alzheimer’s and Dementia care preferred
  • Management experience
  • Flexible schedule
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population

Job Description:

  • Maintains kitchen and workstation clean and organized
  • Keeps records of what is being served to the residents, their dining schedules and the operations of the kitchen facility
  • Creates appropriate and high-quality menus under the supervision of the dietician while adhering to the restrictions given by doctors, nutritionists and other facility managers
  • Prepares daily meals for all the residents in the living facility
  • Follows Dietary Requirements and the recommendations of the residents’ nutritionists and doctors for preparing meals
  • Plans and Organizes Menu planning and preparation for special events, in addition to handling other daily chores.
  • Orders Raw Material and Fresh Produce, and maintains them in the proper way

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Culinary School Certificate
  • 2 years cooking experience; Assisted Living experience preferred
  • Current ServSafe Certification required
  • Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling\supervision\sanitation licenses and/or certifications
  • Requires knowledge of special diets
  • Flexibility with schedule

Job Description:

  • Prepares all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner under the direction of the dining services coordinator\manager
  • Maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards under the direction of the Dining Service Coordinator
  • Prepares and cooks meals for communities and maintains standards of kitchen cleanliness
  • Follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules

We seek the following principal qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years cooking experience; Assisted Living experience preferred
  • Current ServSafe Certification required
  • Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling\supervision\sanitation licenses and/or certifications
  • Requires knowledge of special diets

Job Description:

  • Under supervision, cleaning, polishing, and sanitizing gathering and public spaces
  • Cleaning residents apartments on a weekly basis or as needed
  • Maintaining assigned areas in an orderly and attractive manner
  • Submitting work orders to the maintenance team as needed
  • Taking initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority
  • Interacting with residents and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of previous housekeeping\cleaning experience
  • Ability to communicate with residents, family, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with a flexible schedule and availability to work weekends
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB and pass background checks

Job Description:

  • Works inside the facility’s building as well as outside
  • Provides assistance to officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary
  • Checks building at beginning and end of shifts
  • Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and in other positions temporarily as necessary
  • Performs minor and major repair of the equipment
  • Replaces broken windows, repairs doors, door locks and closets, window blinds
  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance
  • Produces and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Repairs and installs electrical wiring and equipment
  • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings, repairs plaster and drywall, paintsbuilding structures – inside and outside
  • Performs work according to standard procedure and by building’s operational schedule
  • Uses brooms, mops and floor equipment to sweep, mop strip and wax floors
  • Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
  • Assists in the evacuation of residents

We seek the following principal qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of prior maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Good mechanical and electrical skills
